Görtz: 10 years of joint success

The Görtz Architecture department, headed up by Ulrich Volp, has been relying on the expertise of Rosendahl-Holtwick-based Hoffmann Ladenbau since 2006. Together they have already fitted out numerous flagship stores, exclusive store areas and retail shops throughout Germany.

And so the conversion of the 200 m² shop in the Wandelhalle in Hamburg Central Station was once again completed as a joint project. The comprehensive modernisation of this busy shop was completed in March 2016 and has since been wowing customers with its clear design style, high-grade shop-fitting and new themed worlds.

Efficiency through modularity

A key innovation can be seen from the Wandelhalle shopping mall; namely the black display cubes in the display window, in which shoes and accessories can be showcased, provides a clear view into the inside of the store and thus conveys a feeling of expansiveness. Hoffmann Ladenbau produced the powder-coated steel cubes in its own metalworking workshop. The wall panels were also manufactured in its own production department, into which the striking Görtz logo was cut using CNC technology. A flexible rail system was constructed, into which the high-grade aluminium base inserts can be inserted as required to effortlessly translate the display panels from cardboard fittings into self-selection elements.
